The ITRF 2014 has been published

Milestone reached on Svalbard

The Norwegian Mapping Authority’s new geodetic Earth observatory at Ny Ålesund in the Svalbard islands is taking shape, with the first stage completed just over a year after construction began. This means that the new instrument building is now ready to receive the antennas which will be used to measure the planet’s motions and changes. A roadmap for the enhancement of geodesy

The United Nations Global Geospatial Information Management (UN-GGIM) Working Group on the Global Geodetic Reference Frame (GGRF) is now drafting a roadmap for the enhancement of the Global Geodetic Reference Frame.
