2010 Workshop of the International GNSS Service (IGS)

The 2010 workshop of the International GNSS Service (IGS) will be held at Newcastle upon Tyne (UK) 28 June - 1 July, followed on 2 July by a one-day symposium on vertical rates from GNSS.

The workshop is open to the entire community and will feature invited talks, posters, and splinter meetings on a full range of issues important to IGS activities: monumentation, station integrity, data transmission and storage, analysis center activities, antenna and receiver calibrations, troposphere and ionosphere modeling and products, modeling of station and satellite motions, and requirements for new applications.

The vertical rates symposium will encompass both the measurement and interpretation of vertical rates, with particular emphasis on GNSS at tide gauges and for measuring glacial isostatic adjustment (GIA). IGS workshop attendees are encouraged to stay for the symposium.
