Each IAG Newsletter includes several of the following topics:

I.        news from the Bureau Members

III.    reports of IAG symposia

IV.    reports by commissions, special commissions or study groups

V.      symposia announcements

VI.    book reviews

Journal of Geodesy papers now online first

With some of the recent changes to the IAG's official journal, the Journal of Geodesy, papers that have been accepted for publication and page-proofed by authors will now appear as soon as possible on the Journal of Geodesy's website. These papers are identical to the versions that will be printed in later volumes of the Journal, with the minor exception of pagination and volume numbers on the printed versions. Digital object identifier (doi) codes appear on the online papers. This is a significant achievement towards the new Editorial Board's aim to decrease the time-to-publication of papers submitted to the Journal. Particular thanks go to Ms Renate Preuss at Springer for making this happen.
